Interview with Model Bryson Brown
Vessel: Hi Bryson, we’re thrilled to feature you as our cover story! To kick off the interview, could you introduce yourself to our readers?
Bryson: My name is Bryson Brown. I was born in Greensburg, PA, and lived in Connellsville my whole life before moving to Brownsville six years ago when my mom met my stepdad. I live in a small town called West Brownsville. It’s peaceful and quiet in my area, and I enjoy living here because of the fire department and the people I’ve met.
Vessel: How did your modeling journey begin, and what experiences have you had in the industry so far?
Bryson: It began with my stepdad’s sister Cait suggesting I should be a model, and that sparked my interest. So, I did my headshots and started my journey. Here I am, having had the best experience with an awesome modeling family, learning about fashion and much more, with the most amazing, fun, and caring model manager/boss lady, Robin.
Vessel: Do you see yourself continuing in the modeling world in the future?
Bryson: 100% absolutely! It has become something I love and enjoy doing.
Vessel: We understand that you’re also a firefighter. How did you get into that career and was there a specific reason you chose this path?
Bryson: My stepdad has been a firefighter for about 25 years, and I’ve always wanted to become one. I joined when I was 14. I enjoy helping people and making sure we, as a brotherhood, are united.
Vessel: Photographer Robin Ann mentioned that you’re very community oriented. What drives your passion for giving back and are there any particular experiences that have shaped who you are today?
Bryson: My drive is helping others. I’ve seen people struggle and have nothing, and my passion is to help people and make sure no one goes without. I have been CPR/AED certified for four years. My most heartfelt experience was when my mom and I were driving home from a model shoot in South Carolina, and we came upon a man who had wrecked his motorcycle. First responders were not there yet, and a lady was performing CPR. We pulled over, and I asked if she wanted me to take over since I was certified. She said yes, so I began, with my heart beating out of my chest. That was the first time I ever did CPR on an actual victim. That moment changed my life, my whole perspective on life. I knew then that I was where I needed to be, and I’m just going to keep going.
Vessel: We’ve heard that you’re passionate about sports. Which sports do you play, and do you have any favorites?
Bryson: I have played baseball my entire life. My mom has always been my biggest supporter and made sure I never missed a season. I also bowl in a league. I love all sports.
Vessel: What other interests do you have? Any hobbies you’d like to share with us?
Bryson: I also play the guitar, sing, and dance. I lived life to the fullest when I was younger. My mom always said we never let grass grow under our feet.
Vessel: When you were younger, what did you dream of becoming?
Bryson: (No response provided)
Vessel: Could you share a little-known fact about yourself with our readers?
Bryson: I’m passionate and caring for others. I enjoy helping and making people laugh. My mom is my number one fan and supporter, along with my stepdad.
Vessel: What are your ultimate goals in life?
Bryson: When I graduate, I’m going into masonry. I will continue to be a first responder, help people, and pursue my modeling career. My goal in life is to be the best I can be and strive for what I want. If I want it and put my all into it, I can achieve it.
